Estate Planning & Business Law Attorney
Brittany Littleton owns and operates Littleton Legal. She started the firm to help Oklahoma families preserve legacies, or gifts handed down from one generation to the next, through estate planning. Prior to forming the firm, Brittany witnessed how overwhelming business succession and estate planning could be for families and business owners, and the struggles that resulted from the lack of planning. She helps individuals and families plan for life’s unexpected events by engaging with clients to understand their needs and goals and developing positive and productive long-term relationships across multiple generations. An active participant in the local entrepreneurial community, Brittany is also passionate about helping Oklahoma businesses grow and thrive. Given her experience as an estate planning and business transaction lawyer and as a business manager as a General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer for Oklahoma businesses, Littleton Legal was the way she knew how to best help address those needs. Her practice focuses on business law, estate planning, trust administration and probate. Brittany Littleton started forming Littleton Legal’s foundation more than a decade earlier by excelling at the University of Tulsa. Her undergraduate degree in international business administration included international travel and studies. She speaks Spanish fluently.
During law school, Ms. Littleton also worked as a research assistant, a law clerk with a small law firm, a law clerk with a large corporation, and a Judicial Internship with a Federal Magistrate. She used these experiences to hone her attention to detail, research, writing, and listening skills. In her practice with other firms, Brittany Littleton’s work was focused on estate planning and trust administration and business/corporate law. After five years working with multiple companies as an associate at a law firm, she became General Counsel and Vice President of two companies with varied business responsibilities. She coordinated outside counsel, drafted human resources policies and procedures, supervised office and field staff. She handled multi-party transactions including real estate, heavy equipment, and bulk products, and was responsible for complex regulatory compliance, corporate financials, and insurance issues.
During her tenure in this position, Brittany was heavily involved in the start-up of a third company to which she was named General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. Her contributions included authoring the business plan and developing branding and marketing strategy. She was responsible for finding new business opportunities, organizing funding, developing processes and procedures, and navigating compliance with regulatory requirements. This successfully resulted in a multimillion dollar merger, through which Brittany continues to play a key role.
